Now, I’ve got to admit that I have been totally seduced by the rice water movement and thats just because it‘s worked it’s wonders on my hair and skin.

Rice water has gained a lot of attention in recent years for its numerous benefits to hair and skin. It is known to have been used since ancient times, but has now gained more popularity with the rise of natural remedies.

Rice water is made by soaking rice in water and then straining it out. It is packed with essential minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and amino acids that nourish the hair and skin. It can help improve scalp health, reduce dandruff, nourish dry skin, lighten skin tone, reduce acne breakouts and even promote hair growth. Not only is it easy to make at home, but it also has long-lasting effects when used regularly.

There is no question in my mind that rules out the fact that rice water has not been the common denominator that has taken what was once broken, dry, frizzy, limp and dull looking Afro curly hair to now shiny, defined, moisturised and voluminous curly mass of hair - I am truly amazed.
